Itinerary to Discover the Agri-Food and Gastronomic Treasures of Tuscia Viterbese.

The journey begins on the first day with a visit to the organic farm Petrignanum, near Viterbo, hosted by the owner Cristina Duri. A stroll through the olive grove and vegetable garden that surround the property, where Cristina will share the history and agricultural traditions, explaining both the traditional and current farming techniques.

This will be followed by a guided tasting of the exquisite extra virgin olive oil. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

On the second day, you’ll be transferred to Podere Marfisa, an agricultural estate founded by the Clarici family, whose story is intertwined with the territory of Farnese in the Alta Tuscia Viterbese. Enjoy a guided tour of the estate, which covers 20 hectares and includes 7 hectares of vineyards. Here, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, and Syrah are produced among the red grape varieties, and Vermentino and Incrocio Manzoni among the white ones. Experience a wine tasting at the estate.

Later, transfer to Lake Mezzano for a lunch based on local products at the agriturismo Fra Viaco.

In the afternoon, head to Canino for a guided visit and tasting of the renowned Canino olive oil. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

On the third day, set off for Grotte di Castro to visit the Pacchiarotti winery. The 17th-century cellar, with its three galleries measuring over 70 meters, was entirely carved with picks. It has recently been renovated in line with tradition but with a keen eye on modern production needs. In the main hall with its triple-vaulted ceiling, owner Antonella will unveil the secrets of the Aleatico DOC wine of Gradoli. The lunch-tasting will take place at the charming Il Molino farm, located in a splendid position between Marta and Montefiascone.
